1/2 cup(s) of
onion, chopped
1 1/2 pound(s) of
green tomatillos, husk removed
1/2 cup(s) of
cilantro, chopped
2 tbsp. of
lime juice
2
jalapeño peppers, seeded and chopped

Salt and pepper to taste
Steps
Cut the tomatillos lengthwise and roast them either on the grill or for about 6 minutes under the broiler until the skin is a little dark.
Put the roasted tomatillos, onion, cilantro, lime juice and jalapeño in a blender or food processor.
Blend or process until you obtain a smooth puree.
Place in the refrigerator to cool.
