Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day Skinnygirl-Style with These 3 Cocktail Recipes

If you’re looking to get into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit with something green and festive, I’ve got you covered with three delicious, fun and green St. Patrick’s Day cocktails.

Pucker Up Margarita
This flashy margarita has an awesome sweet-and-sour punch.

– ½ ounce white (clear) tequila (100% agave)
– ½ ounce melon liqueur or any flavor of Pucker liqueur
– 1 ounces lemon-lime Sour Mix
– Piece of orange slice candy or other sour fruit candy, for garnish

Combine the tequila, liqueur, and sour mix in a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange slice candy on the rim – or you could even float a Sour Patch Kid or two in the drink!

Apple Martini
A beautiful green appletini that is as fun to look at as it is to drink.

– 1¼ ounces vodka
– ½ ounce green apple schnapps, such as Pucker
– 1 ounce Fresh lemon juice
– ½ ounce Simple Syrup
– Green apple slices, for garnish

Combine the vodka, apple schnapps, lemon juice, and simple syrup with ice in a cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with apple slices.

Spicy Latina
A sexy, cilantro-packed cocktail that will add a little fir to any fiesta.

– ⅓-inch slice jalapeno chile or 2 to 3 dashes of green Tabasco sauce
– Three ½ inch slices peeled cucumber
– ¼ cup fresh cilantro leaves (15 to 20 leaves; reserve 1 leaf for garnish)
– 1½ ounces white (clear) tequila (100% agave)
– 1 ounce fresh lemon or lime juice
– ½ ounce Simple Syrup
– Lime wheel, for garnish

Muddle the jalapeno in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add the cucumber and cilantro and muddle again. Add the tequila, juice, and simple syrup and shake with ice until well chilled. Double-strain (using both the cocktail strainer and a small sieve) into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim and float a cilantro leaf on top.
