When Monday rolls around, it usually means playtime is over and it’s time to get shiz done. As much as you might dread Mondays, the truth is they don’t have to suck. You just have to prepare for it. When you do this, you’ll wake up Monday morning ready to hit the ground running.

Here are 4 tips you can use to make Mondays your bitch:

Plan something fun. Give yourself something other than your workload to look forward to. I like to make dinner plans with a friend on Monday evenings. The excitement of catching up with a friend makes me forget all about the Monday blues.

Morning workout. On Monday morning, it might be easier to hit the snooze button than to get yourself up for a morning workout. But trust me, this is the one workout you don’t want to miss. Getting active in the morning will give you the energy boost you need to get through the day.

Dress your best. When you look good, you feel good. When you feel good, you do good. The confidence you’ll have from looking your best will make it easy to bring your “A” game.

Make the most of Sunday. To make the transition into the new week a little easier, spend some time on Sunday getting organized. This will give you a bit of a head start on the new week. Also make sure to go to bed early so that you’re fully rested the next day. When you wake up, you’ll be full of energy and ready to roll.
