4 Reasons to Try Pilates for National Pilates Day
Though I’m normally a yoga girl, pilates is another great way to stay strong and fit. In honor of National Pilates Day this Saturday, May 7, here are a few reasons to give this workout a try:

Pilates is all about these three things, which are all great for your body. Whether you’re a beginner or have more fitness experience, you can always improve your strength, balance, and flexibility — and it will make any other workout you do easier.

Posture is important for your health, and it can also affect your safety during a workout. If your posture is bad, some of your muscles are doing extra work — which is bad for your whole body in the long run. Pilates can help with your alignment.

I mean, what’s not to love about great abs? Pilates puts a lot of attention on your core, meaning that your tummy will be looking better than ever.

Nothing helps you “Go To Sleep!” like a good workout, and pilates is no exception. It can help you be more aware of your body and get the deep, restful sleep we all need more of in our lives.
