Low-Fat Mock-A-Mole Party Dip

Everyone knows chips and dip are must-haves at any get-together. Avocados are very healthy but also fattening, so I created a way to make guacamole high-fiber, lower in calories, and still delicious.


– 1 avocado, peeled, pitted and mashed
– 1 cup cooked green peas
– 1/4 cup chopped fresh tomato
– 2 tbs chopped fresh cilantro plus more for garnish
– 1 tbs chopped red onion
– 1 tbs chopped fresh parsley
– 2 tsp fresh lime juice
– 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
– 1 tsp garlic salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 3/4 tsp Tabasco sauce


Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl and blend with an immersion blender until smooth. You can garnish with cilantro. Serve with tortilla chips, whole grain crackers, and/or raw vegetables.
