Green Chia Seed Smoothie
Green smoothies seem to be everywhere these days but buying one from a cafe or juice bar can get pricey. Don’t let the price tag deter you away from these healthy drinks, just whip one up at home!
They’re super easy to make in my Bella Life Skinnygirl Personal Blender, I just chop up the ingredients, throw them in and blend. The best part about this recipe is the chia seeds – they’re loaded with antioxidants and deliver a massive amount of nutrients with very few calories. Oh, and if you’re not a kale fan, try switching it out with another green like spinach or romaine lettuce.
– 1 teaspoon Chia seeds
– 1 ripe banana
– 4 ounces fresh pineapple chunks
– 1/4 cup firmly packed fresh kale leaves, chopped
– 1/2 cup coconut water
1. Grind Chia seeds in blender until they turn to a powder.
2. Add the banana, pineapple, kale, and coconut water to the Chia powder.
3. Blend until smooth.
