A Guide To Skinnygirl Wine & Cheese Pairings
I love cheese platters for cozy nights in but they’re also an easy and interesting food option to include at a party. You don’t have to go anywhere fancy for the cheese, you can usually find a great selection at your local grocery store.
Since you’re not spending a ton of time preparing an elaborate dish, you’ll have more time to get creative with the presentation. There are a lot of fun cheese accessories, like cheese labels, or you can get a small chalkboard and write the cheese selections on it. I also suggest adding different colored grapes, crackers, apples and breadsticks to liven up your platter.
Now all you need is a bottle of wine (Skinnygirl, of course). Personally, I’m not too picky when it comes to wine and cheese pairings but if you’re looking to get technical – here’s what goes well with what.
– Pinot Noir // Gruyere
– Moscato // Creamy Gorgonzola
– Chardonnay // Brie
– Pinot Grigio // Smoked Gouda
– Cabernet Sauvignon // Cheddar
– California Red Blend // Pecorino
– California White Blend // Feta
– California Rose Blend // Ricotta
