How to Get the Perfect Bikini Butt!
With summer in full swing, we're all looking to get our rears into gear. The perfect bikini butt can be harder to find than the perfect date, but Bethenny's got exercises to move yours in the right direction:

1. Follow a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) format.
These and any of our other moves will help you get the best physical results but also cut your workout time in half. Try doing these the exercises below in a format of 40 seconds of exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest. Add these moves to your previous Bethenny Bikini Butt Workout:
Hindu Push-Ups: Start from wide-stance downward dog position and dive through the hands bringing the elbows into the ribcage to place focus on the triceps and return to start position.
Surfer Squats: Start sideways on your mat with your feet slightly wider than hip width as if you were standing on a surfboard. Spring off the feet and jump 180 degrees to land in the same position facing the opposite direction. Be sure to land first on the ball of the foot and slowly control how quickly your heel descends to the floor to maximize the toning of your legs and glutes and saving your knees from injury. Repeat in rapid succession for the prescribed time.
Cross-Jacks: Start with feet together and arms overhead (steeple position). Jump your feet into a wide stance and bring the opposite hand to opposite foot being sure to keep the chest lifted and the obliques engaged. Jump back to start position and repeat on opposite side.
2. Stop overtraining!
Women are notorious for punishing themselves with excessive workouts to make up for poor dietary choices. Overtraining leaves you looking puffy and depleted. That has to stop if you want to look your best this summer. HIIT workouts allow you to burn more calories in under 30 minutes than any other format. It also increases your EPOC (exercise post oxygen consumption) for the day allowing you to keep your metabolism ramped up for the next 24 hours.
3. Cut out the grains.
Grains contain extremely high starch content and are extremely inflammatory foods. The more refined the grain, the more inflammatory it is. Grain also contain phytic acids that can prevent nutrient absorption and have been linked to a variety of chronic conditions, autoimmune diseases and weight gain. Most of my clients have tried everything to get their six-pack abs and lifted butts. Going grain-free can make all the difference in the world in just a few short weeks.
