How I Survive the Office Buffet
After I had a Lärabar for breakfast today, I was in meetings, and I ate a few more carbs than I normally do — all balanced out with greens. I had a salad, a few bites of pasta salad, and half a tuna sandwich on pumpernickel.
• If you’re eating pasta and bread, don't eat all the pasta, and lose half of the bread.
• Use vinaigrette instead of creamy dressings. It’s less fattening, and you use less because the creamy stuff is hard to spread in order to dress the whole salad.
