Hot Arms for Spring: 3 Yoga Moves

Sleeveless season is fast approaching. Celebrity yoga trainer and Bethenny.com blogger Kristin McGee has the only three yoga moves to tame your underarm jiggle.

Time to bare arms! Spring is here -- as are tank tops and short sleeves. If you want your arms to look super sexy for spring, concentrate on these 3 yoga poses.

Dolphin -- Yogi Push-Ups

Start in a downward facing dog pose and lower your elbows to the floor, interlace your fingers and make a fist with your hands. Walk your feet back a few inches then inhale. Lengthen your torso forward as if your chin were going to touch in front of your fists (coming in to a plank position).

Press back from plank into your forearm downdog. Repeat 8-10 times.

Crow Pose

From downward dog, walk or hop your feet forward in to a squat position. Lift your hips as high as you can and bend your elbows back like chaturanga arms. Press your inner thighs around your upper outer arms, squeezing tightly with the legs as you shift your weight forward into your arms and use your abs to lift your toes up off the mat. Try to hold 5 breaths then lower down. Don’t give up on crow pose; just by attempting it, you are working your arms. Put a pillow in front of you as a crash pad to get over your fear of falling. As you get stronger in crow, try straightening your arms for an extra challenge.

Table Top

After you lower down from crow, have a seat. Bend your knees, place your feet flat on the mat and place your hands 10-12 inches behind you with your fingers facing forward. On an inhalation, lift your entire body up off the mat. Press firmly into your feet and hands; and use the back of your arms and triceps to open up your chest and hold yourself in the pose. Stay at least 5 to 8 breaths before lowering.

Even if all you have time for is a set of Yogi Push-ups every morning or evening (do them while watching TV!), your arms will look super hot in your tanks, tees, and flirty spring dresses.
