Nail Trends: 7 Manis to Request

Nail Trends: 7 Manis to Request
When choosing your polish, say goodbye to depressing blues, greys and blacks, and instead pick a punch of color. Samira Asemanfar is the beauty pro and founder of Bellacures, a Southern California salon franchise that exclaims nail art is huge right now -- it's all about bright, playful and unexpected nails.

Here are the 7 trends Samira says are heating up her salons right now:

Samira's Tip: If you're looking to make your manicure last longer, take a close look at your personal health. Polish stays based on the health of your nail. If your nail is too oily, it will peel. If your nail is too dry, your polish will chip. Stay hydrated. If you suffer from dry nails, try taking fish oil and biotin.

Insider secret: Bethenny hadn't painted her nails in 15 years, but recently branched out (not that wildly, but she has enjoyed a little color). Which trend would you love to see Bethenny try?

Meet Samira:
Samira Asemanfar is a young entrepreneur and founder of Bellacures nail salon and TheBroot, a natural hair mask bar in Southern California. Samira says her hope "is that whenever you visit a Bellacures nail salon, you feel comfortable enough to focus on what really matters: remembering that the little girl inside of you just wants to sparkle... maybe with bright red polish?"
