My Big Announcement

My Big Announcement
For those of you who missed me on The Ellen Show today, I'm so excited to announce that I'll be back on the air soon!!! I cannot wait for you all to see how much fun we have every day and how much YOU really drive the conversation. Thank you all for the support this summer. I could not have done it without the help and support of YOU or Ellen Degeneres.

I'll bring you more details as soon as I can!

What (and who) do you want to see on the show?

Bethenny,

I am overwhelmed with inspiration every time I watch your shows (all of them) as they've documented your success from an idea to a lifestyle. Your quote, " It's pretty amazing what you can do with an idea and some passion" inspires me, daily.

I am on a journey to become a syndicated humor columnist. The journey began back in 2009, when I started my daily blog: www.darliomsa.typepad.com. I've always found myself to be quite funny and I love to write, so I combined the two and began serving up daily doses of wit. The blog is widely popular with my tens of fans and has led to some interesting writing projects along the way. Clearly signs that I am headed where I need to be. As you know, when you are chasing a dream, some days it's hard to believe it will happen. On those days? I catch myself baking cupcakes instead of querying syndicates. But for the most part, I think it and say it everyday and know I will get there. (True believer in Anything is Possible, Secret, Law of Attraction, etc)

So, now you're wondering what this all has to do with you? Well, when I heard you got the talk show in New York, I immediately felt the need to be on it. Maybe as a part of some snarky mom panel, where I bring my opinion and humor from the pages of my blog to life. I even went so far as to tweet the idea to you:

21 Jan @bethenny: putting together a panel of snarky moms for that new talk show?look no further. I serve up snark with a side of wit, daily HMU

When you didn't reply immediately with a "Hell Yea!" I assumed it was simply because you don't follow me. So I figured I would reach out to you again.

If a Snarky Mom panel is not in the plans for Fall 2013, don't worry, I have another idea. One where we document my journey for your viewers. A journey that includes 'sitting in Starbucks silently judging and writing, typing copious query letters, and on some days, baking cupcakes.

Following me on my journey to syndication would be like 'ground floor' opportunity. Witnessing my struggle, my hard work, (cupcake baking), and eventually a realized dream. Okay, the 'ground floor' line was what totally sold me on joining a direct sales team about 7 years ago, figured I'd throw it out there.

I am a shoe-in with your viewers. Born the same year as you, I am a wife and mother to three kids. I still live in the same town where I was raised. Still married to the same guy I met at age 19. I drive a mini van. I am relatable, honest, and driven. Seriuosly, even when I stop to bake cupcakes, they are the best damn cupcakes I can make.

I feel there is some need for me to appear on your show, I even dreamt one night that it happened.

I sincerely welcome the opportunity to speak with you more.

Regards,
Shivaun Williams

Hello! I was told that Bethany wants to help female entrepreneurs. I have a brand new invention/product I want to promote and I would love to be on her show if she does a "female entrepreneur" segment.

My product is called Click & Carry. Click & Carry is a patented device created to make it easy on your hands when shopping. As consumers, we often try to carry as many bags as possible to limit the amount of trips from the cart to the car and then again from the car to the home. We often up with grooves in our fingers as a result of toting too much weight. Let's face it, nobody enjoys lugging around shopping bags! No matter how many times we rearrange them, shopping bags are a pain and we all know how frustrating it can be to keep them organized and uncluttered.

Click & Carry is ergonomically designed for comfort and even distribution of weight. C&C holds up to 50 pounds without putting stress on your hands and it has a soft gel bottom for additional ease when carrying bags in your hands or over your shoulder. C&C is packaged with two recycled shopping bags so we are VERY environmentally friendly! Plastic shopping bags are now considered taboo in many cities and will soon be phased out just about everywhere.

Thanks for considering me if you should decide to showcase female entrepreneurs!!! My website is www.clickandcarry.com & be sure to watch the video.

Thanks again!!!

Hi Bethany!

I got married this past Nov. 2012. We eloped, but included our parents. Originally we were planning to have a celebration/reception this summer to include more family and friends. But after settling down and analyzing our finances, I decided that it would be smarter to wait until we were in a better financial place.

However, I have a ton of student loan debt, and I would rather throw money at that, than plan a party. So the reception is not something that will be on my radar for quite some time. Yet, everyone is excited and wants to celebrate and I feel like the party pooper.

We could potentially plan a party on a very, very tight budget...like bbq with boxed wine kinda budget...which is not what I had in mind...so I'm not too excited at the thought. Maybe you could show me to how to throw a reception on a budget? Maybe it could me more fun than I am anticipating?

Thanks Bethany!
Shanna
