Vegan Banana Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

I made these Vegan cookies last night! So tasty!

Makes 8 cookies

Ingredients:

1/4 cup of vegetable oil
1 cup raw organic sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 1/4 cup oat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup dark chocolate chips
3/4 cup mashed overripe banana (1 large banana)

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350°

Combine all ingredients in a medium sized bowl.

On a non-stick cookie sheet (or line a cookie sheet with parchment paper), scoop batter with a medium sized ice cream scoop.  Space cookies evenly on baking sheet.

Cook 35 minutes, rotating halfway through.  The cookies should have a slightly brown edge and come out clean when poked with a toothpick.

This has become one of my favorite go-to recipes. I substitute applesauce for the oil (same amount) and they turn our heavenly. So simple, so delicious. Thanks for a great recipe!

I make this twice a week. Bake for about half the time it says. They are so delicious and never leave me feeling weighed down.

Hi,

Is this recipe missing the soy milk? I've made these many times before the revamped site & I remember it using soy milk. Another site has it listed.
i love this recipe & I freeze individual portions & just pop a few cookies in the oven when a craving hits.
