Healthy Brown Rice Breakfast

A tasty alternative to oatmeal.

Ingredients

1/2 cup brown rice
1/4 C soy milk
1/2 sp. cinnamon
1 T dried cranberries or raisins
1 tsp. sliced almonds
1 T maple syrup

Preparation

Combine 1/2 cup brown rice with 1/4 C soy milk, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1 T dried cranberries or raisins, 1 tsp. sliced almonds and 1 T maple syrup in a saucepan.

Heat over medium heat.
