Awww, love the Cookie photos! Beyond glad that she has adapted well to Bryn’s arrival!! When I had my baby last year everyone said I would be less attached to my dog. It was the opposite… that more than ever I wanted the comfort of my dog next to me during this big life change.

Can anyone confirm the exact type of dog Cookie is? My friend rescued a dog that looks familiar, same color, size, etc and no one could confirm with us. Thanks.

We had a dog named Baby Bear that we got weeks before my daughter and first child, Morgan was born. We were blessed to have him for 11 years(gone for three years now). He had such a bond with my daughter, he used to sit on her in her bouncy seat as a baby and later slept with her every night. We both swear that Cookie could have been his twin. He was a Peeka-Poo(His mother was a poodle and father was pekingese). Everytime we watch the show we pause it, just to look at Cookie and remember just how special our Baby Bear was. My daughter gets so emotional seeing Cookie, so I swear she is a Peeka-Poo! Anyway, WE LOVE COOKIE, SHE HAS A SPCIAL PLACE IN OUR HEARTS!
First , I have to say congradulations on everything ! You worked hard, preserved and stayed true to yourself, you go girl . Ty, for keeping it real for the rest of out there doing same, this is why we adore you and Jason. You guys are a team. Many blessings & much happiness to you and your family. I think Cookie is a Havanese. The Havanese is a breed of dog of the Bichon type developed from the now extinct Bichon Tenerife, which was introduced to the Canary Islands by the Spanish.
I found my dog and though he was a Shitzhu, come to find out he is a Hananese. the longer snout is the giveaway.
