Like most women, I used to be a chardonnay person. A great way to lighten things up is to switch to a pinot grigio or a sauvignon blanc. These are lighter, less sweet wines which lend themselves to drinking them more slowly, they’re less sugary and seem to lead to less of a hangover.

I’m a huge Cabernet fan ~ is that one of the better choices?
What about reds, B?
Bethenny,
you mentioned in your book to have one small glass of wine or two a day. When drinking at home, what’s the best way to store the rest of the bottle?
I am a Pinot Grigio girl, like Ramona. PG is a wonderful wine to drink. I sometimes drink Cab but that is only when I am feeling frisky!
White wine spritzer! This is my answer to having a drink or two to “keep up” with my husband and not have to switch to water halfway through. It’s refreshing on a hot summer day and makes me feel very Great Gatsby-esque, I think we need to bring it back into fashion!
Bethenny,
I do not know if you are getting my posts because I do not see a response to them. I have a non and void thyroid and I have a bad back and hips. I try to be healthy, nothing is working. I was wondering. What about salads and cottage cheese and low fat yogurt. I also have intersticual cystis. Bladder problem. I could use your advice and help. PLEASE
