
Q: Since you will become a mom soon, do you have any suggestions on quick healthy and tasty meals for children?
A: Children are so much easier to please than we give them credit for. Find a restaurant that has whole wheat pizza crust to increase fiber in your child’s diet. My Booboo Banana Bread recipe in The Skinnygirl Dish is delicious, healthy and you can get the kids involved. Substitute brown Rice Krispies (find at health food stores) and make your children those delicious treats. Buy a whole grain pancake or waffle mix and jazz up with fresh fruit filling or toppings and all-fruit preserves or maple syrup.
